Textured fruit bowl. Made from a hand-rolled slab over a large hump mold (ca. Ø300mm). I attached a foot-ring while still on the mold and trimmed in place. Once leather-hard I carved back a repeating pattern on the outside using a somewhat blunt trimming tool and hand-carving. I like the way the grog in this clay lifts in the exposed surface.
