Cluebot: Using machine learning to write crossword clues
A first attempt at AI-generated clues. The solution in the grid was set by hand. The clues were written by the OpenAI 'text-davinci-001' model given the prompt. 'Write a cryptic clue for "xxxxx"'. The clues are not very cryptic! Most are pretty good quick-style clues. A few are a bit tenuous, so keep an open-(AI)-mind as you try to solve it.
